Gary Northfield

Gary Northfield (1969) has been writing and drawing comics since 2002. He has regularly worked for esteemed magazines such as The Beano, The Phoenix, National Geographic Kids and The Dandy. He has also had many books published, including The Terrible Tales of The Teenytinysaurs (Walker 2013), Gary’s Garden (David Fickling 2014). He is the author of the well-read Julius Zebra Series, about a zebra who is a gladiator in the Roman Empire. The last book of the series is Julius Zebra: Grapple with the Greeks! In 2019, Northfield published his first joke book, titled Julius Zebra Joke Book Jamboree!
