Roanne van Voorst
Roanne van Voorst (1983) is a researcher, writer, journalist, speaker and assistant professor. She writes fiction, non-fiction and poetry. Her books and articles have been translated into several languages and are published internationally. As an “anthropologist of the future,” her research focuses on what could be a sustainable and desirable future for our world. Her most recent books are Lief van je (Brandt, 2018), a novel based on true stories, about the future of conflict and the increasing fear of refugees and Ooit aten we dieren (Podium, 2019), a non-fiction work about the future of our food.
