We\u2019ve invited some of the best domestic and international Young Adult-writers, all authors will sign books afterwards and there will be a small-scale YA market.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The 2021 YA-authors are, via livestream Angie Thomas (USA), and in person: Taran Matharu (UK), Christelle Dabos (FR), Ciara Smyth (IE), Emmelie Arents (BE) and Pamela Sharon (NL).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Samya Hafsaoui will interview American writer <\/span>Angie Thomas<\/b> in a livestream about her two new books <\/span>Concrete Rose <\/span><\/i>(<\/span>De roos uit het beton<\/span><\/i>, published by Moon, translated by Aim\u00e9e Warmerdam) and <\/span>Blackout<\/span><\/i> (published by Best of YA, translated by Aim\u00e9e Warmerdam and Margot Reesink). Angie Thomas is born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi, was a rapper as a teenager and is mostly known for her debut novel <\/span>The Hate U Give <\/span><\/i>(that was also made into a film).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Live on stage Samya talks with the British Taran Matharu<\/strong> (<\/span>Conterder-<\/span><\/i>series), <\/span>\u00a0the Irish Ciara Smyth<\/strong> (<\/span>The Falling in Love Montage<\/span><\/i>), the Belgian Emmelie Arents<\/strong> (<\/span>Woestijndief<\/span><\/i>) and from the Netherlands Pamela Sharon<\/strong> (<\/span>Wie ik gister was<\/span><\/i>) and Lisa van Campenhout<\/strong> (\ud835\ude09\ud835\ude2a\ud835\ude2b\ud835\ude2f\ud835\ude22 \ud835\ude26\ud835\ude24\ud835\ude29\ud835\ude35).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The French Christelle Dabos<\/strong> (<\/span>Mirror Visistor Quartet-<\/span><\/i>series) has canceled due to health problems.<\/span><\/p>\n The program is scheduled from 14:00 to approximately 16:00, afterwards there is time for signing at the book fair! The fair has stands from among others Letters & Lights, Romemade candles, Till and Dill and Another View.
