Pieter van der Wielen

Pieter van der Wielen (1974) is a Dutch radio journalist and television host. From 2004 onwards, he was host of the scientific program Hoe?Zo!. He was a replacement host for the NOS program Met het Oog op Morgen and since 2014 has presented Nooit meer slapen, the cultural late night show on NPO Radio 1. In 2015 he won the Zilveren Reissmicrofoon, a prestigious Dutch radio prize, for the presentation of this program. Before Van der Wielen became a host, he worked as a radio journalist for NPS, NOS, NCRV, Teleac and VPRO. In the summer of 2020 he will present the VPRO program Op1 every Friday evening, together with Nadia Moussaid.
